Friday we spent looking for an apartment, it’s complicated by the all of the regulations, but our friends here are helping a lot and we’re continuing to ask to find the space we want so much, where we could do ceremonies and deepen our relationships with the people we’re meeting. Although at first we weren’t sure about it, it seems that the image of a “meditation house” is very common here in the Bay.
Friday we left for Red Bluff. We felt that we’d returned to our old ways, arriving to the Park at 1 in the morning. We spent the day in the Park, between ceremonies of Well-Being and Death for Phillip, interchanges about the Message and how to bring it to the world. It was a very enriching conversation for everyone and we felt extremely welcomed and supported.
Sunday we continued the apartment search by car, visiting open houses and looking for signs in the street.
Monday we met Michael, Jorge, and Janet (masters from Red Bluff) in Lake Merritt to do diffusion. We walked around the park, talking to people and inviting them to a ceremony of Well-Being. One of them accompanied us all around the park, even helping us to pass out flyers! It was a beautiful experience, 4 new people participated and showed interest in keeping in contact and participating in a retreat on the first of May.
Then, on the way back home we met David, who we’d spoken to before at the park, and he read us an astonishing poem, all of us felt a resonance with him. Now, we’re back at Kate and Pepe’s, with the 3 computers looking for an apartment and listening to Mati’s inspiring classical music 🙂
